Ryan Denhof, a 12th-grader at Liberty High in Arizona, won the Division 1 boys senior/invitational race by covering the 3-mile layout in 14:52.1 at the 43rd ASICS Mt. Carmel Cross Country Invitational at Balboa Park's Morley Field in San Diego, Calif. Liberty placed second overall as a team with 88 points.
